Juan DeJesus Diaz, D.O., F.A.C.P.

Juan DeJesus Diaz, D.O., F.A.C.P.  joined IDC in 2007. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Houston in Houston, TX and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University, in Des Moines, IA.

Dr. Diaz completed his Internship, Residency and Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of South Florida School of Medicine in Tampa, FL.

Dr. Diaz is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has also completed specialized training in Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care. He serves as Affiliate Professor, Volunteer Faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa and also the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

Dr. Diaz is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Florida Infectious Disease Society, and the Infectious Disease Society of America. He is currently Chairman of Infection Prevention at Florida Hospital, Orlando, FL.
